Hi there! I’m a social sector operations specialist based in Chicago, Illinois.

Hi there! My name is Julia, and I am a passionate advocate for social sector operations. I have over 5 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, and I have a proven track record of success in helping organizations achieve their maximum impact.

Currently, I am the Chief Operating Officer at Unlocking Communities, a social enterprise that equips entrepreneurs with the education and tools to sell sustainable products that unlock economic, social, and environmental transformation in their communities. In this role, I advise on organizational strategy, oversee software implementation and development, and work to move the organization forward.

I also feed my passion for social sector operations through consulting with Goralski & Associates. I frequently work with small to large organizations to implement software that will allow staff to give more time back to their mission as well as provide strategic consulting.

Previously, I worked at Just the Beginning – A Pipeline Organization, a nonprofit dedicated to increasing the diversity of the bar and bench, managing their marketing strategy, software implementation, and operational procedures.

I graduated from Loyola University Chicago with a Bachelor of Arts in Global and International Studies and a minor in Management. While I was there, I studied abroad in Rome, Italy and Bogota, Colombia allowing me to gain first-hand experiences working with people from other cultures.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, traveling, and exploring new restaurants in Chicago.
